Databases - Open source databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, with support through OpenLogic, provide 90%+ savings on subscription and support costs over similar Oracle databases.
Application and web servers - Open source application and web servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Glassfish and Geronimo, with support through OpenLogic, save 60-80% on subscription and support costs over proprietary alternatives such as Oracle WebLogic Server or IBM Websphere Application Server.
